Who we are

Our wineSauvignon

Ronco Scagnet Sauvignon 2014 wins the Silver Medal at:
Concours Mondial du Sauvignon.

Present on the international scene, the Sauvignon grape enjoys the recognition and enthusiasm of both professionals and consumers!

Who we areOur farm

The Ronco Scagnet company produces both white and red wines: whites are the result of an accurate selection of the grapes subjected to soft pressing and therefore vinified in white, that is, without contact with the skins, to highlight the characteristics of freshness. The reds instead have a fermentation in contact with the skins which generally does not last longer than 4-5 days.

01Our vineyards

For us, history and traditions are a precious patrimony whose value and importance we constantly remember. Nature is the supreme protagonist of our work; the experience of our fathers and the work we carry out daily have taught us to love it, to respect it, to understand its extraordinary complexity and to appreciate its great potential.

02How it's made

However, it is precisely on the basis of these traditions that we believe it essential to pour energy and resources for a constant evolution of the thought that guides us. Over time our work has had the opportunity to grow, to introduce new techniques and new production philosophies.
We want to pursue this process, but always respecting the fundamental guidelines that come from tradition.

03Tradition and nature

It is a tiring attitude; continuous investments in the vineyard, constant improvement of equipment and techniques in the cellar, unceasing comparison between what has been done and what can be done. We are convinced it is the right way.
Collio is a generous land and we want to honor it by giving our best.

WinesWhite wines

The white wines of Collio are characterized by a pale straw color with lively greenish flashes, by a pleasant softness, by clear and intense aromas in which the aromas deriving from the vine emerge decidedly from a very delicate fruity, sometimes supported by a slight hint of almond. Their production takes place through a careful sorting of the grapes subjected to soft pressing and then vinified in white, that is, without contact with the skins, to highlight the characteristics of freshness.

WinesRed wines

The red wines of Collio are distinguished by their bright ruby color, round body, the clear personality of the perfumes from which a degree and very fine herbaceous often stands out. Their production involves fermentation in contact with the skins which generally does not extend beyond 4-5 days.
If aged in oak barrels, after three years they can boast the qualification “Riserva”
